Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends<\/strong>\u00a0<\/div>\n

We would like to inform you that the European Society of Regional Anaesthesia & Pain Therapy (ESRA) is organizing the 1st ESRA European Day of Regional Anaesthesia (E\u2013Day)<\/strong>, on Saturday 27th January 2018<\/strong>. 20 European Cities, in 7 different countries will participate at the same day<\/span>, with a common scientific program<\/span>, aiming in interactivity between trainees and experts in Regional Anaesthesia, during Local Face to Face Meetings<\/span>.<\/p>\n

It is an honour for Greece<\/strong> to be included among the 7 European Countries, who will take part in this scientific event<\/span>. The Directory Board of ESRA Hellas (Greek Section of ESRA – Zone of Greece & Cyprus) has selected Athens and Thessaloniki<\/strong>, as the two cities \u2013 meeting points, which will participate in the celebration of the 1st ESRA European Day of Regional Anaesthesia.<\/p>\n

Our basic goal is the Discussion of Innovations and the Combination of Theory with Clinical Methodology and Hands \u2013 On Practice, in the broad field of Regional Anaesthesia. With the participation of our country we continue to be at the forefront of education and research, we signal a new beginning in the encouragement of training of the new generation and we target in the promotion of knowledge all over Greece, focusing on improved quality of Continuing Medical Education among Greek Anaesthesiologists.<\/p>\n

The Scientific Event in Athens<\/strong> will take place in the Small Auditorium – Lectures Hall of “Aretaieion” University Hospital<\/span>, whereas the Scientific Event in Thessaloniki<\/strong> will take place in the Teaching Lecture Hall of the Department of Anaesthesiology & Intensive Care Medicine of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in the University Hospital “AHEPA”<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Both Scientific Events will be organized under the Auspices of<\/u><\/div>\n
(\u03b1) \u0391’ Anaesthesiology Clinic – Pain Therapy & Palliative Care Centre<\/strong><\/div>\n
of Faculty of Medicine of National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece<\/div>\n
(\u03b2) Department of Anaesthesiology & Intensive Care Medicine<\/strong><\/div>\n
of the Faculty of Medicine of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece<\/div>\n

Every Scientific Event separately, in each city, has been accredited by the Panhellenic Medical Association<\/span> with 8 CME – CPD Credits<\/strong>, whereas both Scientific Events<\/span> have been approved by the Greek National Drug Organization (EOF)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The registration<\/strong> to the 1st ESRA European Day of Regional Anaesthesia in Athens and Thessaloniki<\/span> is complimentary for all Greek colleagues, by the ESRA Hellas Directory Board<\/strong>. The only prerequisite for participation<\/span> in this scientific event is the registration in ESRA or the renewal of ESRA registration (ESRA \u2013 ESRA Hellas joint membership) of all attendees, for the year 2018<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The number of participants for ESRA E – Day in each city is limited<\/strong>, and as such it is advised that all colleagues that are interested in this scientific event to register soon.<\/div>\n
